Albany ENT Supports Ronald McDonald House Families as “Adopt a Room” Donor

The Albany Ronald McDonald House offers 25 private guest rooms for families whose children are receiving critical medical care far from home. Each room is uniquely themed and designed to provide a comforting respite for as long as it is needed. On average, it costs $2,000 per year to cover the housekeeping and maintenance costs for each room, ensuring that they are ready for every new family who comes to stay.

Last year, Albany ENT & Allergy Services generously adopted a room with a gift of $2,000 to cover those annual costs. When the “Secret Garden” room needed urgent repairs between guest family stays, support from Albany ENT made it possible to complete those repairs quickly and keep “The House That Love Built” ready to welcome those in need.

This year, Albany ENT has again stepped up as an Adopt a Room donor. Senior Partner Dr. Nora Perkins, CEO Lauren Ayers, and Marketing & Communications Manager Jennifer Brandt recently visited the Ronald McDonald House to see firsthand the impact of their company’s support. Though the “Secret Garden” room was occupied by a guest family during their visit, the team was able to see the “Safe Harbor” bedroom adopted by Albany ENT for 2023.
