Celebrate and support the mission of RMHC-CR at our signature events
RADIOTHON
Traditionally held on a Friday and Saturday in late January, the Radiothon is one of our biggest and most anticipated fundraisers of the year. This event raises more than $100,000 annually to help support children and families facing serious health challenges in our community. Those families — along with many of our volunteers, sponsors, partners, and friends — share their stories over the airwaves as we take calls from generous donors across the Capital Region and beyond. It’s a heartwarming event that makes a huge difference!

5K FUN RUN & BIRTHDAY BASH
The Albany Ronald McDonald House welcomed its first guest family in June of 1982. Our 5K Fun Run and Birthday Bash, held on a Saturday in June at Albany College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences, brings past guest families, community partners, volunteers and friends of RMHC together to celebrate the birthday of “The House That Love Built!” This family-friendly event includes a 5K race for all ages and abilities, followed by a fun-filled birthday bash complete with delicious food, sweet treats, face painting, balloon art, crafts, games, music and more.

RMHC GOLF TOURNAMENT
The RMHC Golf Tournament at beautiful Saratoga Lake Golf Club offers corporate partners and RMHC supporters a chance to enjoy a fun-filled day on the golf course while supporting families with sick children. This event features two flights of golf, plus a dinner only option, with exciting raffles and silent auctions, giving participants ample opportunity to network, have fun and make a difference at this signature event.
