Keeping families close since 1982
Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Capital Region draws on the compassion of our community to deliver and support programs that directly improve the health and well-being of children and families.
Our three core programs – the Ronald McDonald House, Ronald McDonald Family Room, and Ronald McDonald Care Mobile – focus on the critical needs of children and their families. We help those facing serious health challenges stay close to each other and the care they need, and we bring quality health care resources to areas where they are needed most.
RMHC of the Capital Region is a catalyst for creating a world where all children have access to quality medical care and their families are lovingly supported to be active participants in their children’s care.
We continually work toward this vision through strategic partnerships within the Capital Region. We collaborate especially with hospitals, schools, and businesses that are invested in addressing the unique needs of children undergoing serious medical treatment. Our efforts depend on more than 200 volunteers who bring love and support to families — strengthening our core programs and developing new services in response to families’ needs. Thanks to financial support from many individuals and businesses in our community, all RMHC services are provided completely free of charge to families during their time of need.
Families are the heart of everything we do:
