Be a part of our story!
It’s easy to Read for RMHC-CR! Many schools participate in our program already, and we are always happy to have new schools join us. We also welcome local libraries, small groups and independent readers to be a part of our story!

Program participants start by selecting a reading month. During that month, children track each minute they spend reading, and ask family and friends to sponsor their efforts. At the end of the month, donations are gathered and returned to RMHC-CR. Throughout the month, children can also collect donations online through their own personal fundraising pages.
Thanks to our many program partners, children earn great prizes as they raise funds for RMHC-CR. More importantly, they gain critical reading skills and learn valuable lessons about helping others. In addition, we offer 10% of funds raised back to schools or nonprofit groups who promote this program for their students.

Don’t miss our resources for young readers, featuring the RMHC-CR Video Story Library and book recommendations from our teen volunteers!
Each year, we look forward to this opportunity for our children to help other children in need through the volunteer gift of reading. Our students love the goal incentives we create each year, like sliming staff members or silly stringing the principal. It is great fun for all!
