About the Author: Amber L. Bradbury has had a love for expressing herself creatively, as an author and photographer, since childhood. After experiencing the loss of her mom and grandmothers and the impact this would have on her own children, she wrote the uplifting picture book, “If Grandma Were Here: A Book of Memories.” This inspiring title for young readers and their families follows three grandchildren as they remember and imagine happy times spent with their departed loved ones in healthy, cathartic ways that can help keep their grandparents’ loving spirits alive and well in their hearts and minds. Amber resides in upstate New York with her husband, three children, two dogs and a cat, where she is now busy completing the companion book, “If Grandpa Were Here,” after receiving such positive reviews and response to her first title from readers, mental health professionals and educators.
