My name is Meghan MacEntee. I was a 19-year-old college swimmer when I was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia.

Over the past year, I went through five rounds of chemotherapy at Albany Medical Center. In a time filled with darkness and hardship, the Ronald McDonald House makes sure there is joy, light and happiness… even through the trauma, you can still smile and be happy.

I am grateful to share I celebrated my last chemo treatment on October 30 with members of the Ronald McDonald House team at my side.
