ALBANY, N.Y. – Ronald McDonald House Charities® of the Capital Region (RMHC®-CR) is pleased to announce its 24th Annual Radiothon held on January 24 and 25, 2025 and presented by Upstate Chevy in partnership with Albany Broadcasting and Crossgates Mall exceeded its $150,000 goal by raising $154,429 over 48 hours.
Presented across six (6) Albany Broadcasting stations, the annual Radiothon is one of RMHC-CR’s signature fundraising events, raising essential resources to support families whose children are facing serious health challenges in our community.
RMHC-CR provides programs and services absolutely free to families; however, to host a family at the House That Love Built costs approximately $150 per night. The success of the 24th Annual Radiothon will provide 1,036 nights of love and comfort for families at the Albany Ronald McDonald House.
RMHC-CR is grateful to all who contributed to this success; including but not limited to the generous community, local McDonald’s owner/operators, many patients and families who shared their stories, the Albany Broadcasting crew, and the amazing cadre of RMHC-CR volunteers.
