About the Author: Vicki Addesso Dodd is the owner of Saratoga Springs Publishing. She is a publisher and the author of the popular children’s books: I Love You Daddy I Love You More, T’was The Night Before Christ MOOSE, A Moose in My Stable, A Moose in My Starting Gate, Birds Can Fly, Why Can’t I? and A Pumpkin for a Princess. Her writings have been recognized with two Mom’s Choice Awards, a Gelett Burgess award, a renowned National Gold IPPY award, a National Bronze IPPY award and two prestigious Children’s Moonbeam Book awards. Born and raised in New Jersey, Vicki now lives in Saratoga Springs with her husband, Gregg; Daughter, Kelsey; and her two dogs, Roxie and Lola. Vicki’s new found love for Saratoga and all who live there is her constant inspiration for her “Moose” series and Longshot The Moose who you can see at all of the local events and parades.

Visit details: Visits usually include a reading, Q&A, a craft and interactive story building. Time for book signing can be included if arranged prior to visit. If there is someone who would like to wear the Longshot The Moose mascot costume this can be included in the visit for the kids to enjoy.
Availability: 2-3 school visits per month and distance is determined upon request.

Book order forms provided prior to visit? Yes. Delivery at a designated date following the school visit.
Book signing opportunity: Yes
Additional Paid services available: Yes. Extended school visits include a Power Point presentation titled “How A Picture Book Is Born“. This talk teaches kids how a picture book is created, character description and storyboard concepts. This visit also includes a reading and craft if time permits.
