Giving Tuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Over the past ten years, this idea has grown into a global movement, with people around the world coming together to thank, help, give, show kindness, and share what they have with those in need.
This Giving Tuesday, your donation to RMHC of the Capital Region will directly support our Love is Served lunch program inside the Ronald McDonald Family Room! Lunches are prepared fresh by dedicated RMHC volunteers and delivered daily to families with children receiving treatment at the Bernard & Millie Duker Children’s Hospital at Albany Med. These meals are provided completely free of charge for families with children receiving treatment in the hospital.
By making a Giving Tuesday gift of just $25.00, you can provide a day of lunches for 15 people!
