Finding Joy through Arts & Hearts

We are happy to offer artistic opportunities to people of all ages through Arts & Hearts!

Art has been shown to have a positive effect, especially during challenging times. It’s reported that art can boost moods, reduce stress and often leads to a sense of accomplishment and happiness. With access to an ample supply of Arts & Hearts materials and tools, families staying at the Albany Ronald McDonald House can get creative whenever they wish.

Over the summer, our Arts & Hearts Creation Station made a colorful splash at our 5K Fun Run and Birthday Bash, held at the Albany College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences.
The RMHC-CR team is thrilled to bring Arts & Hearts to our beloved families!

Arts Thrive and Grow has been funded by New York State, Kathy Hochul, Governor. We thank Senate Majority Leader Andrea Stewart Cousins for her extraordinary commitment and leadership, and our elected officials who represent our grantmaking region: Senators Jake Ashby and Neil D. Breslin; Assemblymembers Scott H. Bendett, Patricia Fahy, John T. McDonald III, Angelo Santabarbara, Phil Steck, and Mary Beth Walsh.
