About the Author: Melissa Fyfe is a special needs educator and horse owner for many years. Melissa has a dual Master’s degree in education. She feels that it is essential for children to learn about students with special needs, to increase their knowledge about students with any disabilities, and to encourage all to look deeper and find the individual, looking past the disability.
