About the Author: Mary is a retired speech-language pathologist. Her first children’s book, award winning, Where Are You, Alfie? is a true story about a little dog who escapes from a doggie daycare. Alfie’s family reaches out to the community for help. Days turn into weeks. Will Alfie ever be found? Mary also offers her award winning, Where Are You, Alfie? Coloring & Activity book. Mary’s second children’s book, The 91st Tree from Queensbury, is a true story about The Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree that was chosen from her community in 2022. Follow the tree’s amazing journey from small town to big city, and all that happens in between. Mary owns an English Cream Golden Retriever puppy, named Bryn, who is currently in training to become a certified therapy dog. She plans to bring Bryn on author visits beginning October 2024. Mary lives in Glens Falls, NY, aka “Hometown USA”.

Visit details: I will read my book(s) and give a little background/history of Bryn’s therapy dog training. There will be a 5–10-minute Q and A. The students will be allowed to pet Bryn after the presentation. I will need about 45 minutes for the presentation. I will sign and personalize the books prior to my visit.
