About the Author:Melissa Kahl is a lifelong artist from Saratoga Springs. She specializes in painting (oil and acrylic) and pyrography. Her first book, Ellie’s Masterclass, is a compilation of 51 acrylic paintings. It’s based on a true story about her golden retriever, Ellie. Melissa is also a mother to 2 wonderful kids who keep her busy when she’s not painting and writing.

Type of visit(s) available: In person

Visit details: Visit would include a book reading, a question-and-answer period, a poster board of the real photos that inspired the book, a few paintings that went into the book, and a coloring page to take home. Visit would be about 40 minutes total.
