ComicCrafting 101 StoryBook Workshop is a story writing and illustration workshop in which kids develop observation, illustration, and storycrafting skills as they produce distinctive characters, learn to create images that convey character and feelings, then outline, design and draw their own stories.
Participants create a story, identifying character traits and actions and demonstrating them both visually and with words. They bring their stories to life by turning simple lines and shapes into fantastic scenes and images! This program is available as a single day project or as a residency with anywhere between 5 and 10 lessons.
