2020 has been an unprecedented year for all of us, including the many children and families who rely on RMHC of the Capital Region. Since mid-March, we’ve supported more than 140 families with children needing critical medical care during the COVID-19 pandemic. When our Ronald McDonald House was forced to close in order to prevent the spread of infection, we provided more than 1,400 overnight hotel stays — along with meals, comfort items and emotional support — to help families in their time of need. We’ve since resumed operations at “The House That Love Built” and as always, all our services are offered completely free of charge for our beloved guests.
To help sustain our mission in the face of COVID-19, we are pleased to present a re-imagined event to benefit RMHC-CR and all the families we serve:
