Be a part of our story!
With the Read & Raise Book Club, teens and adults (ages 15+) can use their love of reading to help families with sick children in our community. While you enjoy the comfort of a good book (or two, or three…) you’ll be bringing comfort, hope and love to families struggling with serious childhood illnesses or injuries. Here’s how it works:
REGISTER: Complete the form below to sign up for the Read & Raise Book Club. Once you’ve submitted your registration form, check your email for further instructions.
READ: For a period of one month, you’ll spend time reading whatever you like to support the children and families served by RMHC of the Capital Region. Each month, we’ll feature a book recommendation from one of our partner book sellers. You can choose to read the recommended book for your reading month, or pick anything else that appeals to you!
RAISE FUNDS: Throughout your chosen reading month, you’ll solicit donations from family and friends to support RMHC of the Capital Region. You can accept donations online or collect cash/checks to return to RMHC-CR. Be sure to register and check your email for full instructions.
EARN REWARDS: Thanks to our partnering local book sellers, members of the Read & Raise Book Club who earn at least $100 in donations can win prizes including gift certificates to buy more books!
