Ronald McDonald House

A home away from home

Ronald McDonald House in Albany, NY

Since 1982, the Albany Ronald McDonald House has served more than 17,000 families from across the country and around the world. The House is the cornerstone of RMHC of the Capital Region, providing a home away from home — free of charge — for families with children facing serious medical issues. Staffed primarily by volunteers and supported entirely by generous donors, the Ronald McDonald House offers much more than home-cooked meals and a comfortable place to stay. We help families face the burdens of childhood illness in a loving, compassionate environment where they can rest without having to worry about anything but their child’s recovery. At “The House That Love Built,” children and families get better together.
