Sasha’s Superhero Run
April 22, 2018

Sasha’s Run 5K run/walk & kids race was organized by the parents of Sasha Hudson White, a beautiful boy, who lived for only 24 days before suddenly passing away on Christmas Eve in 2016. Sasha never got a chance to grow up, do good deeds, and help others. But his family has committed to honor his memory and letting Sasha’s spirit live on by bringing people together for this event and directing race proceeds to helping other children.

The 1st Annual Sasha’s Run was held on April 29th, 2017. 100% of race proceeds had benefited Ronald McDonald House in Albany. This wonderful organization provides free of charge housing for the families of critically sick children receiving treatments in the area hospitals, thus keeping families closer together during difficult times. Thanks to generosity of so many of our friends and sponsors, Sasha’s Run 2017 had generated $10,500 for the Ronald McDonalds House.

The 2nd Annual Sasha’s Run will be held on April 22, 2018 and will be called Sasha’s Superhero Run. The event will honor all kids who had passed away too soon and their families. We will also honor children whose families stay at the Ronald McDonald House. All race proceeds will again benefit Ronald McDonald House in Albany.
